Acceptance that the the relationship is ‘no more’ is the key to moving on from it.  You need to think of the relationship as something that happened, rather than something that’s still happening.

Focus on improving yourself

You should start living in the present, rather than the past so that you can move ahead with your life. Start looking at yourself and recognize your needs and wants in life. Look at how you were in the relationship so that you can find your shortcomings and fix them to become a better person.
